Unlike most movers who charge by weight or volume, we bill long-distance moves by the hour — the same transparent structure as our local moves. All estimates are non-binding and based on the information you provide. Final charges are determined by actual time worked.

Long-distance moves are billed by the hour — the same structure as local moves. Total time = travel time + labor time, with a 3-hour minimum.

Travel Time

Includes time from our Waltham office to your pickup, plus the return from the destination back to our office.

Crew Size

Choose from 2-man ($149/hr), 3-man ($179/hr), or 4-man ($219/hr) crews depending on your move size.

Access Conditions

Stairs, elevators, and long carries at both locations can affect total time. No extra stair fees — it's all hourly.

Packing Services

Full, partial, or fragile-only packing options are available. Materials (boxes, tape, wrap) are billed separately.

Insurance Coverage

Basic liability ($0.60/lb per article, up to $10,000) is included. We recommend third-party providers for full-value coverage.
