In 24+ years of operation, our damage rate is extremely low because of the care our crews take with furniture wrapping, floor protection, and careful loading technique.

Are your crews actually full-time employees?

Yes. Every mover on our team is a full-time, background-checked employee of Boston Best Rate Movers — not a day laborer, temp worker, or gig-economy contractor. Full-time employment means our crews are trained in our specific techniques, invested in their reputation, and accountable for the quality of their work. Many of our crew members have been with us for years and bring deep familiarity with Greater Boston's buildings, streets, and moving challenges.

What does 'no hidden fees' actually mean?

It means the hourly rate you are quoted — starting at $149/hr for a two-person crew and truck — covers the crew, truck, dollies, moving blankets, floor protection, furniture disassembly and reassembly, and mileage within our standard service area. We do not add stair fees, truck fees, long-carry fees, or any other common industry add-ons. The only items billed separately are optional packing services and packing materials if you choose to add them.
